The new Student Prince Promise Program is designed to support students with academic promise who do not meet one or more of the initial admission requirements. The program focuses on students with a high school GPA below 2.7. If you have the drive to work that’s at the heart of all Heidelberg students, the Student Prince Promise program may be just what you’re looking for!
As a Student Prince Promise student, you will take carefully planned classes throughout the first academic year to help you develop the skills necessary for academic success at Heidelberg. These courses include: The Learning Process in an Academic Environment, Career Exploration, College Writing, AIM Hei, Public Speaking, and a course in a major that interests you, among others.
Additionally, financial support, including academic scholarships, and tailored academic support and coaching are provided to you through peer mentorship. Student Prince Promise students will work closely with the Director of Academic Support, the Director of Academic Advising, and their faculty to establish a strong foundation for success - at Heidelberg and beyond!
